What is the line gonna be in the Jets @ New England? Maybe NE -4?

That's my guess. 4 or 4.5.

No chance it is more than 3. I would say 2.5

I'll guess 3.5. I think they give them the hook and move it higher if the action is on the Patriots.

I disagree. There's a perception that the Pats are the more dominant 9-2 team for some reason and the home winning streak (not counting the beatdown Baltimore put on them in the playoffs) will push it up to 4 at least. 2.5? Are you high?

Not high. They were only a 3 point fave over the Colts and the Jets are a better team than the Colts. I would not be surprised to see 1.5 as the open even....but certainly no more than 3.

He is just way pessimistic

If it is less then 3, NE will get pounded because they are at home, at 3-4pts, they will get equal money on both

You're out of your mind. It will definitely be more than a FG. Nobody thinks the Jets are for real.

You are wrong about this. Ole Rex is playing the underdog role well.

I'm not going by what Rex says, I'm going by what I hear in the media. A four-week discussion about whether they're lucky or good, then last night those two tards going on and on at 26-10 about how the Jets aren't dominant. People think they've squeaked through a soft part of their schedule and will get exposed next Monday.

If weekends like last continue then Vegas is going to start inflating every spread. They took a bath with all the favorites winning last week and yesterday was not much of an improvement.

I think the line opens at 4 minimum.

Since I had it muted I'm going to assume the two tards you are talking about are Theisman and Millen. A buddy called me last night midway through the
4th quarter really pissed about how stupid Theisman and Millen were and some of the stuff they were saying.

The stupid 7-second delay from radio to TV kept me from muting them. They were awful.

9-2 is 9-2. Most of the teams that get good luck are the good teams. Pretty funny how that usually works. Either of those teams playing at home would be favored by 3 or 4. That's it.

ah, theisman. what a guy. he's the one who uttered the profound 'you have to score to put points on the board'. then there's 'there are no geniuses in football. geniuses are people like norman einstein'. how fitting that they put him with millen. can't stand either of them.

It's like they're just flipping a giant middle finger to NFL Network subscribers by putting those two buffoons in the booth for TNF.

Vegas puts out the line around 8pm tonight. That's the first real line. Not some podunk book that you might see. Stay tuned Joe

3.5 it is. A gift for Jet bettors as they will be winning the game outright.
