Default Ky.Cup

I will be there for the day, and was wondering who else might attend.

I have a row of seats on the finish line, and welcome any/all open-minded handicappers.

Let me know if you would like to hook up.

I am a 54yo handsome and extremely intelligent top-level handicapper hetero long-term married male, who is also very modest.

So probably just for the gambling angle.

Still--what do you bring to the table?

I always appreciate the scenery.

Ok, but next time please be clear what you are insinuating when you
say "open-minded" & "hook up"

Hey Bellamy--no prob on my end, though you never know how to take comments on message boards.

Ky.Cup is always a quality day of racing.
Turfway is on the ropes, and won't be crowded.
Low stress day to catch live racing,NY simuls and football from one seat.

I have never missed a Ky.Cup day.

I hate the Dodgers also, but to me baseball blows in general.
I have actually been to two games at the Reds new park(sitting in one of the team owner's boxes). If you have to watch baseball this park makes it much easier to take(along with Castellini's 12yo Macallan). Not a bad seat in the place, and I enjoyed the game from the seating area much more than I did in the sky box.

Damn--I was hoping you were a young hot babe.

I plan to be there JOH. If you can send me a private message, let me know where you'll be sitting and maybe we can meet. I don't have anything set in stone as far as seating goes. Don't even know if my wife is planning on going (alas, I'm a middle aged guy too).

It's an annual pilgrimage for me -- usually a great day of racing.

If I didn't have this stupid asthma problem, I might be joining you. Last time I was up at Turfway (it was a Jim Beam day) it was too cold for me to sit outside and too smokey for me to sit inside the glassed-in grandstand. The hubby and youngsters couldn't take the smoke, either. Has that changed in the last 6 years?

It's not so tough on Kentucky Cup Day. The Jim Beam became the Lanes End -- it's in March and can be cold. Usually Kentucky Cup Day has more moderate weather in the fall and you can usually roam around easier. The smoke can be a little thick downstairs in the racebook. The house usually isn't packed on Kentucky Cup day like it is on Lanes End (Jim Beam) Day.

Races 9 and 10 on the card could produce some mega payouts. Haven't finished 'capping them yet.

I bet you're looking forward to Keeneland!
