Great interview, thanks. Saratoga not the same without Harvey.

I just watched this. Awesome stuff.
Can remember streaming just the audio from DRF.com?? in the early-mid 2000's Siros Days. Then seeing my first one live in 04. Those were great shows. Thanks for taping and posting online. |

Love Harvey's humor, even if it's paid for!
Didn't you hand out a trophy to Pletcher this meet? (Obviously after this was taped.)

You really don't find videos like this with legendary storytelling. I've been around racing for 15 years, and you almost always have to experience these types of memory lane trips first hand through personal interactions. While that is always an experience unto itself, to have some classic Harvey Pack stories shared in this way is great. It made you feel like you were part of a three-way conversation where you sat back and listened to Andy tee-up Harvey and let him go...just brilliant. Thanks!

Nice interview. Thankfully, it's not easy to get action on photo finishes anymore.

Thanks. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. Harvey is incredible. 86 and doesn't miss a beat.

That was priceless, Harvey is quite a character. God bless him at 86 and sharp as a tack. Greatly appreciated Andy.

That race was named for a friend of mine's horse ( and he wasn't there ).

Andy, that was excellent. I enjoyed it greatly and sat there with a smile the entire time.
I'm sorry that it was only 30 minutes, I could have watched that for hours. Thanks for posting

It took about 3 seconds to start smiling at that. It feels good that Harvey Pack is still so lucid and hilarious. It must be cool playing hosses at age 86. They should give him a key to the city or something like that. Imagine if he came out of retirement for one more show.
