Can somebody talk me out of Zimba Warrior as a legitimate win contender?
He’s run again Storm the Court, American Theorem, Fore Left, Strongconstitution, and High Velocity...including two stakes races. I think most of those horses are better than the horses in the Sham (Baffert doesn’t seem to send his best horses to the Sham with the exception of maybe McKinzie and I’m sure another horse or two that I’m missing. When he does, they’re usually more accomplished horses with more than a single start/maiden win under their belt like Authentic or Azul Coast.) All that aside, the race looks to have an honest pace so I could see it setting up for a stalker and suspect that Zimba Warrior may actually like two turns. |

I don’t even like the horse all that much - I think I’m just underwhelmed by the other horses in the race. I’ll probably have the 4 Azul Coast as my top horse, if I even bet it.
