I’d say the final nail in the coffin of racing in Southern California was that embarrassing renewal of the Californian.
Look I get it, racing provides jobs, etc. But the reality is, it’s a horrendous product and at this point they can’t even card more than two days a week. Contraction is the only way to go and as we’ve seen now for the better part of two years Belinda doesn’t care about racing. Shut it down.
