Default To quote Victor Espinoza

Not word for word mind you, but you can go back and hear his exact words from the ESPN 2 broadcast.

The horses seem to hold great footing on the polytrack.

Interesting. All I am saying, just an observation.

well polytrack was discussed at the ITHA meeting here yesterday@hawthorne and it doesnt seem like itll be@arlington anytime soon. they said samples of arlingtons track have been sent off since the meet concluded and it was reportedly dug up all the way. when the person speaking about this said the track seemed to be fine a big laugh came from the crowd, definately a sad/sarcastic laugh with all the injuries/breakdowns/fatalities this past meet. im still baffled what good a racetrack is when bottom claimers run 109 and change over it. arlington used to be called arlington international racecourse as most here know. well the euros already love coming here for million day for our turf, maybe arlington should make them love the other surface as well and move to poly but itll never happen here! why? well this same speaker repeatedly kept bringing the word cost into the equation yesterday! i guess all the fatalities werent"costly" enough to some members of the itha this year.....have no fear come the election later this year most of those folks wont be on the board anymore
