Interesting spot for a horse who should have won a grade 1 sprint on dirt in his last start. Why not take a shot in the Kelso, Vosburgh or the grade 1 sprint at Santa Anita a week later?

The trainer has Tapizar in the Kelso and Justin Philip in the Vosburgh. Why not take a shot in the race formerly known as the Ancient Title?

Then again, maybe he's taking a shot to see if he should try the BC Turf Sprint, as realistically he isn't good enough for the Sprint.

Yeah, I knew they changed the name of the Ancient Title, I just have no idea what it is and am too lazy to look it up. Or he would have been one of the favorites for the stake at Parx last weekend.

I thought about the possibility of seeing if this opens up the option of running in the turf sprint. And it makes sense. But I would probably take a shot in one of these dirt races. Of course, I'm probably overestimating him a bit because he's been one of my chase horses forever.
