You know this Dubai thing is only an issue if Americans allow it to be an issue.There certainly is no lack of ultra-wealthy involved in this game.Just look sometime at the amount these people pay for these animals at these sales.I am not talking about the Sheiks.That horse called "ANY GIVEN SATURDAY" cost what? 1.1 million? Look at how much this Stan Fulton guy pays for horses.This guy B. Wayne Hughes is a well known giver to Conservative causes.If this isn't a good cause,then I don't know what is.I mean somebody could atleast donate what the 10% jockey and trainer checks would be worth.Even if you think the owner/trainer did something on purpose to cheat,the jock did nothing wrong,and should get his 10% check.

I would love to see Brass Hat come back if he can. That's the great thing about geldings like The Tin Man - a injury that requires 6mo to a year for recovery doesn't mean he's off the track for good.
