I've been chasing Puca the last 3 times. I'm thinking her troubled trips are a bad habit for her. I'm going with 7,13,14 in no particular order.

6:1+ on Birdatthewire is good value

I like Shook Up as the exotic play. I wish I could see her work last week to see what she looked like because 5f in 59 was much quicker than her previous works, and a really fast time for Assmussen.

Been looking at the turf sprint, I usually look for chaotic results in these types of races, but I am having a hard time coming up with anyone but the 10 getting back on firm turf and the 12 who goes 2nd off the layoff for a trainer with huge #s for that category.

I will be using the #8. Nice record at CD and the distance, last race a toss.

Turf Sprint (9th) is going to be fun. A veteran Louisiana race mare Good Deed goes up against some fast horses in Heitai, Undrafted and Power Alert.

Driving down tomorrow. Taste of the Derby tomorrow night. Section 325 both days. Stoked!

Why is it a toss? Yeah she got roughed at the start but she still had every chance to win. Looked like she was going to blow past and couldn't get by a lugging out winner. Hernandez will be a few pounds overweight so she won't get much of a weight break from the boys. It's not impossible for her to win but she'll be way too much of an underlay.

How so? He was totally against the shape of the race and still made up ground.

It looked like he broke well, and then lost interest.

I realize he's not the quickest horse around, but with that slow of a pace, he was ridiculously far back.

I would have to agree with others who have said they would like him kept at 1 turn.
