BC Classic future odds after the JCGC and Goodwood
The only racebook back up with odds on the BC is VIP/Gameday. They have Bernardini at 8-5, Lava Man at 9-2, and Invasor at 8.5-1. I'll be interested whether Pinnacle or TheGreek can beat any of those when they put up their lines. VIP/Gameday now has lines up for all BC races except the juveniles.
Here's the BC Classic list: Bernadini 8 to 5 Invasor 17 to 2 Lava Man 9 to 2 Discreet Cat 8 to 1 David Junior 14 to 1 Suave 75 to 1 Brother Derek 75 to 1 Flower Alley 75 to 1 Bright One 40 to 1 lawyer Ron 30 to 1 Sun King 18 to 1 Perfect Drift 50 to 1 Seek Gold 50 to 1 Giacomo 75 to 1 Stevie Wonderboy 50 to 1 Premium Tap 60 to 1 Cindago 60 to 1 Bob and John 30 to 1 Dylan Thomas 40 to 1 Shirroco 30 to 1 GOULDINGS GREEN 60 to 1 Wanderin Boy 50 to 1 Strong Contender 30 to 1 Super Frolic 100 to 1 Yeah, I know many of these are 100% certain NOT to run, but most racebooks don't worry too much about taking money on guaranteed wins. TheGreek is a notable exception to that rule. --Dunbar

I think Giacomo has a better chance than PD to hit the ticket.

The biggest underlay is Stevie Wonderboy at 50-1.
I wouldn't take less that 64,000,000-1 on him. OK ... maybe 45,000,000-1. |
