Nostalgic will be along in time. Hopefully we will see her win right back in the Alabama Stakes

Dominant win by Nest. Almost no reason for Secret Oath to take her on again in the Alabama.

Probably would've been beat only 13 instead of 15 with a more clever ride.
Lazy handicapping as usual. |

Took 3-4 exacta. The way the 5 drifted in last work was bad sign. No reason to rush up there wide early . It could scare all the opposition away in the Alabama unless she tries the Travers

Who's riding worse right now...Gaffalione or Irad?

I'll try Secret Oath at 5-1 or so in the Test instead.

I think when these jocks leave a track/circuit that they have dominated and come to SPA, they run into a situation where fewer jocks are doing the wrong things. I think that is the case with Tyler, who is a really good jockey and now doesn't get to take advantage of less skilled guys. Also, the horses are better, and he isn't riding the most likely winner as often as he is used to in Ky.
I can never figure out Irad. |
