A couple to look at
2/12 Aqueduct Race #10
#1 Jello Shot Went off at 9-1, stumbled at the break, was last of 12 throughout. Raced at least 5 wide throughout the entire turn, then fanned about 10 wide into the stretch....still managed to be the only one closing, sustaining a long run to get with a length, finishing 3rd. Worth watching for sure and will probably still get a decent price coming back, which should be soon. 2/9 Aqueduct Race #9 #8 Anna Mae Jones Went off at 9-1, got pinched back hard immediately, was hustled up alongside the leaders racing wide throughout. She just flattened out in late stretch but after a long sustained run finishing 4th. A better break puts her right there. Also, should be back soon. 2/23 Gulfstream Race #4 #8 Shatoosh 15-1 Morning Line. Went off at 7-1, stalked throughout and was moving in unison with the eventual winner before checking sharply in midstretch, then slightly rerallying to gain 3rd. After a dull 1st effort on the dirt, seemed to relish the grass and would expect another forward move next out. Who knows what kind of price we'll see. Please check these out and offer up any opinions.
