Total handle for the April 4-6 KDFW pool – the final future wager pool in advance of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 4 – was $376,038 ($268,996 in the Win Pool and $107,042 in Exactas) vs. $369,443 ($271,230 in the Win pool and $98,213 in Exactas) in 2023.

A total of $2,052,391 was bet on Derby and Oaks future wagers this year, a 13% increase from last year’s $1,813,542.
