Happy to see Touchuponastar venture out of the La bred ranks. He's been very impressive in his last few. Hoping he runs a good one.

Ran a good race - finished 2nd after dueling 3 wide thru the 1st turn and backstretch with two bombs to his inside in 23.13-46.17 splits. Shook them off and took on another longshot entering the far turn. Shook him off and went clear turning for home but couldn't hold off the Diodoro runner.
Was tiring noticeably and drifting a bit but managed to hold 2nd. It's probably time for a break.

I guess the Beyer for the winner will be in the mid 90's

To be fair though, the 2 and 4 were giant pigs.

Okay the winner was 7th early, 3rd place finisher was 10th (last) early and 4th place finisher was second to last early.

He ran very well. The winner isn’t scaring anyone but he did not disgrace himself at all
