Masoli
http://www.jeremiahmasoli.net/media-mistakes/
This is a really good athlete. As you heard, this guy has been denied the chance to play for Ole Miss this year. He was kicked off the Oregon Football team earlier this year. If you read what he writes about it all, you can see he has the same problem each time (hanging around with guys up to no good.) What I don't understand is if he's a free man, wouldn't it be better for him to be using his athletic skills (playing ball) rather than sitting around. That seems like the last thing the NCAA should be wanting him to do. He's stayed out of trouble when he's playing ball. I mean how fun is this guy to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4pf1...eature=related look at 1:44 of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFQDs...layer_embedded His right tackle gets owned on the play, but still, Masoli is just too good.....sick. He goes from a standstill to a sprint so quickly. Combine that with his deception, and he puts on quite a show. See, just a moment of deception, and this cat explodes away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhAsxEBrGeE&NR=1 Don't care what level of ball it is, come the 4th quarter, a tired defense (forced to cover 2 or 3 options) will struggle to contain this guy. He's moving twice as fast (in those first few seconds after a fake) as anyone on the field. Last edited by SCUDSBROTHER : 09-01-2010 at 05:49 AM. |

No doubt it he's a real good player. Maybe Ole Miss will win the appeal.

he single handidly kept the Wildcats out of the Rose Bowl last year.
Which may have been a blessing in disguise seeing how bad AZ got owned against NB

Who is a better running QB? In 2009, Jeremiah Masoli: - rushed 121 times - averaged 5.5 YDS/A - had 13 rushing TD -had 15 passing TD -only sacked 10 times -had just 6 interceptions out of 305 passes. Far as the SEC goes, he could run wild in the 4th quarter. His quickness (from a dead stop to a sprint) would still be trouble for people. Anytime the ball can go in multiple directions, it's a problem. Hopefully, we'll get to see. |

See, the guys (on the left side of the defensive line) do a decent job at staying disciplined here. The defense doesn't have to bite on the fake that hard (for it to work.) The defense is still in decent position to make a play, but their balance is tweeked. Their weight just needs to be going in the opposite direction a little bit, and that's enough for Masoli to get by. He doesn't need them to be totally deceived. He just needs them slightly off balance. They are trying to cover Masoli the whole play. See how the running back does that double clutch towards the backfield? That's an important part of the fake. If they don't do that, then there's not enough time for the defense to be sold on the fake. Only then did these guys on defense shift their weight. However, the linebacker reads the play correctly. Fights the block off nicely. He's there. With 99% of quarterbacks, the play would have been stopped here, but Masoli ain't just a quarterback. He puts a massive fake on this guy. Gets him to commit, and he explodes away. So, the question at Ole Miss is gunna be how good the original fake is run. The defense had guys pretty much dedicated to keeping this play from being successful. Still, it was successful. |

Well, it didn't help that you got a facemask call to keep an Ohio State drive alive. Wasn't Masoli that facemasked. Wasn't Masoli that fumbled that hand-off at the Ohio State 17. If they'd of scored there, it would have been Oregon 24 OS 17. Would of been a different story. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl2tB...eature=related He had some decent plays. He wasn't awful. You're just stuck in maggot stage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp0C0u2zrXk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4_4O...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqCII...eature=related www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_aIn2t1bko&NR=1 ..You never did get him tackled there. It put Oregon ahead of you. 17-16. Then , they were gunna score again, but the idiot running back fumbled on your 17. Masoli wasn't happy with the play calling in the Rose Bowl, and said so. That's probably the real reason he isn't at Oregon this year. Last edited by SCUDSBROTHER : 09-05-2010 at 03:41 AM. |

I was talking about Ole miss scoring 48, and still losing to Jacksonville whatever. He wasn't terrible in the rose Bowl. The rest of the team was acting tight (including the coach.)

They never get to the Rose Bowl without this guy running this guy over. After he owns the guy, look at the body language of the opposing players.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CU8nC_iLdwg&NR=1 Since we're talking Bowl Game performances, In the 2008 Holiday Bowl, Oregon was down 10-0 until they get this rushing T.D. Who is that #2 blocking for him? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKzS0...=28&playnext=2 They were down 17-7 with a 3rd n' 10. Think this is a momentum turner? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4r6K...78C7&playnext= Then he gives them the lead by knocking this guy over: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eauRx...=29&playnext=2. Yea, he's a real bust in bowl games. . Last edited by SCUDSBROTHER : 09-05-2010 at 04:28 AM. |

Oh never mind...you're going to say that Terry Porter put in a frozen ball when Oregon was on offense. It's funny how they ( including Asholi )were rather inept against a team of some ranking. |
