I'm really excited about the Arc this year. I think Gleneagles may not go there, but the other three should all be there and it's going to be an amazing clash.

With the retirement of Epiphaneia and both Duramente and Real Steel suffering injuries (and both One and Only and Speilberg being pointed to G1's at home this Fall), the only possible Japanese Arc horse was to be the filly, Rouge Buck.

This is her win in the G3 ...

http://web-cache.stream.ne.jp/web/jr...502080411&ua=4

She was winless in her two G1 starts (9th in the Oka Sho and a nice 2nd in the Yushun Himba) and was to be pointed to the Sapporo Kinen this weekend but I just now saw the noms and am confused as to why she isn't there (Sunday Star or Ed - any idea?).

Her full record...

I look at the historical list of winners for the Juddmonte International and surely it can't be real that Arabian Queen won this race???

Guess maybe she should have consulted with you first?

Thought I would throw this in incase anyone was wondering...

Jeff Smith, the winner’s owner and one of Elsworth’s most enduring supporters, hopes to see Arabian Queen line up for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at some stage, but probably not until 2016.

“We are in the [Group One] Fillies and Mares at Ascot [on Champions Day in October] and that would probably be it for the year, and then next year we will possibly train for her for the Arc.”

From RP, this morning:

Found enters Arc picture

Found is 20-1 with William Hill to capture the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris this autumn. Treve is 7-4 favourite to land an unprecedented hat-trick of wins in the race.( 1 hour ago)

Her record...

Replays:

2nd in the Coronation Stakes...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM29yzmY3vw

... and 2nd in the Irish 1,000 Guineas (am only posting replays from this year and will see if I can find the other race later on... she was 2nd in that one too)...

Missed the Sapporo Kinen (which Decipher won) due to fever, will not make it to Paris.

No runner for Japan this year...

From a betting standpoint, 25-1 is too hard to ignore on Erupt. Course will have dried out overnight and won't be anywhere near as wet as it was last out.

Ventura Storm in the Grand Criterium also worth a look at a price.
