Well, we'd better think of something to do, to create, to manufacture, to invent. We're up against it.

Not on your list but ultimately self-responsibility (that simple). Cut government and its programs by 50% this year. Under the constitution everyone is born equal so there is no need for entitlements. Start there! Charities in America are wonderful. Let the hearts of America cut out the Federal bureaucracy and let them (US Gov.) worry about governing and keeping rule of law, and NOTHING else!

Don't forget that "giving" tax cuts to businesses (both small and large) in the private sector is one of the only ways to create private sector jobs.

Bush did that in 2001 and 2003, gave massive tax cuts to business, and that oversaw the greatest, fastest job loss of thousands of jobs, and a decline into the greatest recession since the Great Depression. Why didn't that work? Why did Reagan have to raise taxes multiple times to help counter his rising unemployment? History shows giving tax cuts does not create private sector jobs.

The fact is that businesses need to remain profitable to remain in business. If you cut an expense (like taxes), then the business can continue. Whether the business does relocate is still up to the owners or management, but without profitability, there is no shot at keeping a business here. They will either move or close up. Tax hikes certainly don't help. They accelerate the demise of a profitability-challenged business. |

We are in the worse recession recovery ever. Taxes have never been lower. The top 10 businesses in the United States paid zero income tax last year. Corporate profits were record last year. Our economy is a disaster. Explain why trickle-down theories you are proposing have never actually worked in this country in the past 100 years, and are literally not working right now.

Looks like everything you benefit from on a daily basis has been helped by your fellow citizens, and the decisions we've made to benefit us all in society. What a horrible life you suffer from in this country, living off the riches of our mutual societal benefits! If you are going to bitch about 100% of the rest of what this society decides to do as a group for our mutual benefit, I'd think you would need to actively stop benefiting. You remind me of Michelle Bachmann, railing against the government while she collects farm subsidies, federal funding for her husbands business, and federal campaign funds.

Yea w/o the federal government I'd be on a dirt road, watching no TV and fishing for my food as Sorgs and all my neighbors would cease growing corn and raising cattle w/o the OK of Obama and his Fed! Drug companies wouldn't be able to develop anything and Dr.'s w/o Fed guidance would be lost. I don't get a gov. check and don't expect one till probably 70. But then again Ponzi has been taking money every paycheck to buy IOU's in Ponzi treasuries and now 20 years before I can hope to get some Ponzi money, Ponzi is claiming unless he is able to borrow more Ponzi IOU's he won't be able to send out any Ponzi checks this month! I'm not a sucker and was born on a tuesday. Stop being ignorant on purpose! |
