Bolo.

I'm nowhere as convinced with him taking to the dirt as I was with Barbaro, but if he does, I think it's over.

I thought Birdatthewire looked like a winner last Saturday but couldn't get by. Still think she looks like some nice potential. Already ran twice at CD and appears to handle the track. Wouldn't want less than the M/L.......

A little bizarre not to see Metaboss on the list. He deserves to be on there more than Bolo, who isn't even certain to compete in a Derby prep.

Nothing is certain in life beyond the usual taxes and death, but Bolo is scheduled to go next weekend.

Bolo is light years more likely to win the Derby.

Maybe, but who is more likely to actually be in the Derby. Some people just want something to root for.

Default Ky Derby Pool 3 Stats Guide

I was a little late getting this put together, but it includes a table with past winners and exacta finishers, odds, payouts and the number of horses to make to the Derby each year. Also, I write about my strategy for the exacta in the future wager and how that has played out each year since they added the exacta in 2009. The link below will take you to my website where you can download the guide in .pdf format. It's free, enjoy!

Both of their dirt prospects seem questionable right now.

But, one has Derby points and the other doesn't. I just think people would have wanted to bet on Metaboss too.

The one without the points is a significantly more capable runner.

charlie, 1st off love the avatar, i always wondered who the hell that was till i saw the movie and that guy was pretty good in flick

2nd and more importantly, have you heard anyhting about Bolo working on the dirt? i saw something on the triple crown show on hrtv and , to my very untrained eye, it didn't appear that he was enjoying it. have you heard anything else? i agree that the horse is wicked talented and quick as balls but i was wondering if you had heard anything about any other dirt works. thanks.

Check out the 'IT Crowd' on Netflix. That's what he's known for, and the show is actually funny.

Bolo always works on dirt, so that talk last month of him hating dirt in his workouts is perplexing.

Declared off the Derby trail after bleeding and finishing last in the Battaglia Memorial.
