A 114 for Game on Dude..Being that it was the only two turn race on the main track, it must be tough coming up with that number. Pace was extremely slow and final time of 2:01 88 doesn't look like a 114.

So that gives Kettle Corn a monster number too then. What was his lifetime top before that race?

I thought that was the best race I had seen Kettle Corn run as evidenced by a solid turn move, that being said there is just about no way I can see that being one of Game on Dude's best races because his best races are when he sets fast paces and runs them into the ground.

So if Kettle Corn's best was 104, say today he ran 108, that puts the figure around 111?

What's the Beyer situation from the Eight Thirty S.? I wasn't sure how they calculate it when faced with circumstances like this. When it's off the turf and most of the horses bail except for 3, then the final time's in a crawl with 12+ lengths between the 1st/2nd and 10+ for the 2nd/3rd horses, how does that affect the numbers? Once you get to a certain point in the race, you know you're gonna hold position all the way around and nobody's gonna make an effort.

Margano now has a stakes win on dirt, so I guess good for him and the Jacksons, but is there anything to take from this race at all? Can you even consider it obvious to keep him on dirt since he's now got back to back wins on that surface since this was hardly a very competitive situation?
