Default Louisiana Derby: Pedigree Profiles for Stanford and International Star

Since writing these articles, Stanford ran 2nd in a stakes race that Materiality won, but was DQ'd to last after he veered out around the turn and caused a chain reaction. International Star won the Risen Star.

Keen Ice would be a useful clunk-up horse in the KD if he could get there. Would a 3rd in this race do it for him though?

If last year is any gauge, 3 got in: Vinceremos, Harry's Holiday and Commanding Curve each had the lowest point total with 20.

why would he be a clunker upper? Im always a fan of finding the clunk up horse passing all the tired horses for back end of exotics....

The LA Derby does set up perfect for International Star. Few front running horses hes just gonna stalk the pace and run them down...

Kinda doubt that ride was according to instructions for Talamo on Moreno, especially the way Guillot seems to bow his chest before each race about how his horse will be in front.
