The 3yo crop in Europe has been terrible this year, but still a bit surprised that Coolmore didn't send something for each race. Stone Age and Concert Hall were apparently too busy being pacesetters in Group 1s last weekend to bother, but O'Brien should have more (and perhaps better) in reserve.
Also, Godolphin has an endless supply of well-bred 3yo geldings (that's the usual treatment when they fail in the classic trials) that could have padded each field. Maybe management needs to start offering to pay shipping expenses or start wooing the Germans (who historically have always been competitive shipping to NA) a bit more. |

Make the Cigar 2.0 mil from 750k. Hope it makes that a more targeted race for connections vs. that dopey two-turn BC mile

Amazing that an invitational race for $1 million would offer an invitation to A hoss that just got beat in the NW3L 35 claimer.
