Doesn't this essentially mean Wynstock and Imagination are bypassing the Derby? They'll have no points since they're entered by Baffert.

Yes. They were only going to earn points had they been transferred to other trainers by the January deadline.

Grand Mo the First joins Derby field with Deterministic bypassing..

Endlessly remains very iffy after 2nd unappealing dirt work Saturday. Common Defense would be next into grid..

Jose Ortiz gets Catalytic..

Ben Curtis sticks on Honor Marie..

Regulatory Risk, 2nd in the Gazelle, is now likely to contend the Oaks pending a work this week..

Manama Gold, the Louisiana-bred winner of the UAE Oaks, is expected to supplement to the Oaks which would place her at #15 (first AE) on the grid..

I am usually excited about betting an overlay in the Preakness and generally have a lot of success betting this race…but I’m underwhelmed here. Muth might be unstoppable. I did hit with Oxbow back during the Orb Derby year so maybe I’ll take a closer look at the Lukas horses. Hoping to see another horse or two added to this list to make things a little more interesting.

For Tuscan Gold, is the Peter Pan two turns this year since it’s not being run at Belmont?

This is legitimately a sportsmanship issue and no way there are 18 horses having to bail on the Preakness because they didn't come out of the race well. McPeek and Lukas are acting like they have racehorses. Baffert's horses might be coming in fresh but he'd have no problem swinging around after two weeks as he's done it plenty of times before.

I'm gonna have to sit through Randy Moss running his mouth about changing the space between the races. Again. I still think Belinda's playing some sort of game after she couldn't move the Preakness to Laurel.

This is great news. Is it too much to also ask for a rabbit from Chad or Brad to put pressure on the Baffert horses?
