Yep I'm done big time. Got one half right of the final four right, but that's about it.

Did ANYONE see the skit on SNL Saturday about the bracket tournament? Best skit ever.

I think the best I can do is 4th. I have Florida going all the way, but so does everyone ahead of me it seems. But for having Louisville in the Final 4, I had the other 3 at least.

I give my self the "Barry Horowitz" pat on the back for that... I wills say that every year I screw myself out of a Final 4 team the first weekend every year.

3 years ago: I was smart enough to put Pitt as a 9-seed in the Final 4, when they lost in the first round to Pacific lol.
2 years ago: I had Iowa in the Final Four, only to lose to Northwestern State in the first round. But George Mason f'd up everyone's bracket last year, so we'll all forget about last year lol.
This year: Louisville. I figured the winner of the Louisville-A&M would have smooth sailing all the way to the Final Four, because I was hatin both on Ohio State and Memphis. Give both teams credit for taking care of business.

But that's the way it goes...

Default Congrats to StormCadet/Pweizer

Pweizer and StormCadet atop the standings tied...

Both have Florida as winning it all, but Pweizer had both the finalists as his top two. Technically, StormCadet wins with more correct game picks, but both have 118 points on the scoring system going into Monday night...

Both receive DerbyTrail caps for their prowess!

The top 5:

StormCadet
Pweizer
Destin
Bigsmc
Skippy

Steve,

StormCadet has Florida and Pweizer has Ohio St., it is a duel to the finish for them. Monday night settles it.

Congratulations to Storm Cadet (Big Ron!) for a terrific performance winning the Derby Trail NCAA Tourney Pool!! A Derby Trail cap is on it's way to SJU!

Florida's win moved Bigs and Skippy up to a tie for 2nd, with Pmayjr a close third. I was stunningly 5th... Thx to all for playing!

Haha congrats Storm Cadet. Even when it's 2 #1 seeds, and 2 #2's, it' still tough to get all 4 teams in the final 4. Looking at our brackets quick, I did notice that nobe of us were changing spots if Georgetown won against Ohio State. All of us in the Top 4 had Georgetown playing Florida.

As for Kasept's 5th place finish. You know how to rig a bracket lol. You don't rig to win, because that would raise eyebrows. You rigged the bracket for 5th place respectablility lol. Oh wait, I started and ran the bracket, so maybe I rigged my 4th place finish for respectability... hmmmm (I would like to be a racing steward, this would be good credentials lol)... JK.

As for the tail-end... Baba had a little excuse, he didn't fill out 3 out of 4 regions. So Turdbucket, since you struck out on the Final 4... ugggghhh... better luck next year. You can probably do as bad, but you can't do worse, unless you don't fill out your whole bracket lol.

Too bad it's another year before we get to do it again!

Well done, Storm Cadet.

I love these things because they can all turn so quickly. Oregon beats Florida and I'm on top. Ohio State doesn't sneak by Xavier, I'm out in round 2. One of the most formful NCAA tournaments in recent memory.

Thanks guys and thanks to Pete the commish!

As I'm PROHIBITED by the NCAA to play in a $$$ pool this was great.

It helped me seeing a lot of these teams all year up close and personal on the road and at the Garden.

But to be honest, I made out my bracket in REVERSE for the finals & regionalst!, then going to the early rounds to look for mid major upsets.

And I am NEVER right when trying to choose how my own school will do on a given night...I ALWAYS GUESS WRONG... so much for being in the know! I know how well my horses will run then my athletes!
