Is Newspaperofrecord vulnerable as a prohibitive favorite going 9 furlongs ?

Does Stella Di Camelot look like a cinch vs that field ?

I love the German horse second off the layoff adding Lasix. No way am I getting 20-1 though.

I just read on Twitter people (morons) thought the Wonder Again was “rigged.”

My brain hurts.

Newspaperofrecord is quickly emulating Analyze It last year.

She's always been fairly rank in her starts though not quite to the point of being a run-off. The Edgewood chart caller claimed she rated comfortably last out, but Ortiz had a hammerlock on her with his feet on the dash board in the early stages. I thought that tendency would be her downfall in the Breeder's Cup last year...wrong.

However, it probably accounts--along with being a light-framed filly--for her failure to progress this year (at least up to this point). She's still been clear of the show horse in both her 2019 outs so one can't write her off just yet.

In fact, if she continues on to the Belmont Oaks there should be solid backlash from the betting public such that true believers will get a square price for once (and maybe the only time).

She doesn’t seem to have the same acceleration off the turn as she did last year.

It's painful and amusing somehow at the same time. These people are so clueless.

Trainer change is required, send her to Cannizzo and let her open 12 on the field, Kidding. Shame I thought she was the nuts, wrong again for a change.
