Chromes effort yesterday doesn't even warm up Arrogate.

How about Bafferts older maidens who went 1.08 flat 2 races before Chrome.

Pretty silly that a race created to serve as a prep/goodbye for 100k would be a 120 BSF BCC effort? Was it suppose to be? Just a guess but I wouldn't expect a 115+ effort from Arrogate in San Pasquale.. As much as I like Arrogate and think his last 2 races have been as good as any I have seen, wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Chrome beats him at 9f's at GP.

Arrogate won't be running against $20K claimers or Coolmore-cast offs either. Up-and-comer Silent Bird has a good turn of foot and unless Arrogate can clear into the stretch, he may actually get a challenge, however brief, in the stretch.

Could be interesting since Arrogate would be coming back on less than 4 weeks rest if he goes in the Pegasus Cup.

Silent Bird is certainly improving he ran well on the BC undercard, but he did run down a Baffert horse who came back to run like **** in an allowance race..... So off that win, he can challenge Arrogate? Highly unlikely. The 4 week thing is obviously a concern. He has run huge off layoffs multiple times. I'm confident Bob will have him ready though. He is the best horse we have seen in 20 years, lets be happy we have him.

I think its pretty much impossible that CC beats Arrogate. If he couldn't beat him in the Classic w/ an easy uncontested lead how will he ever beat him? Arrogate knows no other way to run. When he races it will come back fast, that's just how it is.
