Default KD 2024 - No DQ???

I know that wasn’t the most egregious non-DQ ever, but it was the most egregious and public worst effect on my pocketbook that I’ve ever seen. Although I believe that one of either Sierra Leone or Forever Young would have won the race without the bumping, that’s beside the point. It’s clear that SL came in to cause the initial contact and that it very likely cost FY the placing. I doubt that the hand contact that Gaflione made had any impact, but there must be a rule against that too, no? I for one will not place another bet at Churchill Downs or any of their other tracks unless bettors who missed out are compensated (Pipe dream I know). Sure they won’t miss the measly amount of money I wager but it’s the principle of the thing. I wonder what level of such a boycott it would take to make it cheaper for them to pay out?

There is still no worse call then when then DQ'd Maximum Security in 2019, that was a complete and utter joke.
