Former NFL player and pro wrestler, Ernie "The Big Cat" Ladd past away this weekend. Here's a link to the story...

RIP, Big Cat. I remember him well. The taped thumb was a powerful weapon.

He was one of the all time biggest "heels" in the 70's and early 80's,
he was managed by "Classy" Freddie Blassie & The Grand Wizard of Wrestling.

I remember how upset I was when he was traded from the Oilers to KC. I also remeber going to watch him wrestle in Houston as a kid. He along with Wahoo McDaniel were my favorite wrestlers.

He was in the WWF in the late 70's....the Grand Wizard managed him there
Freddie Blassie introduced him to wrestling on the west coast after he retired from football.
