Default Duke Lacross seniors

Should senior members of the Duke team be given an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA? Apparently they are seeking same, since their season was cancelled last year due to the rape allegations...interesting question, I say yes!

100% Somer.....this rush to judgement was ridiculous, and to have the case unfold as it did and fall apart in the end. Duke U. should be leading the charge to NCAAs' door, the coach they fired should be paid, and if the NCAA doesn't give them eligibility...they should seek legal and compensatory damages!

I agree...Tony on PTI said no because apparently the team had issues before and the party itself was cause for some disciplinary action...while that might be true, it certainly wouldn't have resulted in canceling the season and ruining those kid's lives. This is one time the NCAA should show some compassion!

I say yes also. Maybe they will invite the lady who made the accusations against the team, her family, and the idiot Da who should not be practicing any more to the game. Inviting Al Sharpton would be pretty nice also.

on some level the Duke seniors got back at the ncaa today. they played for the national championship but they lost to hopkins 12-11.

the ncaa is the biggest joke for a governing body, that holds meetings on this planet! DON'T even get me started on this subject! i'll need 2 blood pressure pills until i'm done.

I am another that says yes. And I think that the DA should have to attend every single game, home and away...

what ever happened to the coach who resigned? did he end up with a team elsewhere?

case was mishandled from day one. in order to keep from having the appearance of different treatment due to their economic status, they did a 180 and treated these kids very badly--so in the end, they do get treated differently! it's crazy...
