Default Sammy Sosa gets 600th

Aaron, Bonds, Ruth, Mays. Now Sosa. It is what it is.

We can at least be thankful he hit it against the Chicago Cubs.

It's always nice to see that just when it seems things can get no worse for Cubs fans, the Cubs find a way.

Good for Sammy. 600 is a lot of HRs.

It is tons of HR's. Getting to 600 is much easier when you are hopped up on steroids (allegedly). I do think he will get into the Hall of Fame. I woulnd't vote for him, but I think the Baseball Writers of America will vote him into the Hall of Fame in his second year of eligibility.

glad he hit against the cubs also, but its because i hate the cubs. but i never cared much for sammy he always came off as fake to me. which finally showed towards the end with his tenure with the cubs. its like he wanted everbody to like him so bad and would put on this bs show to woooo them.

Moments after sammy Sosa hit his 600th career home run, Cub radio announcer Ron Santo was aroused from his usual mid-game slumber long enough to give a rather startling description of the revelry following the home run that should become far more memorable than the actual milestone. Santo said "that's Mrs. Sosa down there now. She's balling her brains out on the field."

I, as a Cub fan, am very happy for Sammy and glad he did it against us. Also, love how he pointed at the Cubs dugout after he made his way around the bases. gfy Hendry and Dusty.
