No, I'll be moving the end of this month and I have no idea where or if I'll have net access for awhile...if someone else sets up a league I'll join but can't promise I'll be around all year!

Cool

Just reading some fantasy football stuff earlier, and though about our annual leagues.

If enough are interested, I'll set it up when it gets closer to preseason.

If I'm settled and have net access, I'll join but I can't run it this year cause of all the uncertainty...there might be three of us wanting to play, Chris and I always play and his lady may want to play also...might need more than 1 league again! I've found that 14 teams is good...that way you have weeks 1-13 for league play and play every team once and weeks 14, 15 and 16 for playoffs (want to avoid week 17 as so many stars sit out, especially RB's). The Yahoo player settings are good, I usually add one W/R position and a couple individual D players, they changed the points (default settings) this year...I like the settings they are now using, might add one point per reception .....again, just suggestions from my experiences the past few years!

Sounds good Somer. I'll have to check all the settings to see what they have this year.

i can't see how you guys can play fanstay football. you will have to pull for the other teams your team plays against. myself i just can't root for the other team, who is playing against my team.

I'm the same way, that's why I never start my players from other teams against my BEARS!

DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS.

How's monday night August 27th work for everyone as a draft date?!?!

I'm thinking 6:30 pm draft time

I'll set the league up.

Cool

So far only two teams are in, but there is plenty of time left to sign up.

Greg, I signed up...don't know yet if I can make the draft...depends on my work schedule, if not...I'll pre-rank. A few suggestions:
(1) no points really for defensive players, you should add tackles and assists at least, probably some other cats.
(2) 2 Qbs in a 10 team is cool, even 4 wr's but 4 Rb's is too many...4x10=40 and there are only 32 starters in the league plus a few others like Bush worth having...every team needs at least one reserve RB for bye weeks so that's 50 needed at minimum. I suggest having 2 RB positions and two W/R slots so you can use either a WR or a RB.
