Default Arlington 9/12

An otherwise mostly forgettable Wednesday card at Arlington is spiced up by the return of two ultra-impressive maiden winners. Silver Breeze rated nicely in her last on Million Day and took off at the push of a button after just missing in her debut. Shrewd Operator turned in what was possibly the most visually scintillating performance of the entire meet in his debut -- going straight to the front, setting wicked fractions, and drawing off very impressively down the lane. Both look like deserving favorites, with Shrewd Operator perhaps ending up in the tougher race, but still more than capable of repeating right back.

Another impressive performance by Shwred Operator today. I remember this one from last time we were at AP for Sumwon's Saratoga race. Best of luck with the rest of your picks

He's just a monster -- I don't understand it yet.

He goes out and dares anyone to catch him, and nobody has even come close.

He looks like he's doing it so easily. I just wonder what will happen if he hooks another horse capable of going that fast early -- if he can rate? If he can, look out, we might have a monster sprinter on our hands.

Couldn't agree more. You think he will get caught, but he just keeps going. Amazing speed, like you said if he can rate watch out!
