Weiss will quit before his fat ass has to do some serious running and he might have a heart attack if he has to run.

He has a 10yr contract....I seriously doubt he's going anywhere soon! Not Even Notre Dame can absorb a contract that large.....

Why are there ND threads... shouldnt we wait till they score a
Offensive Touch Down ?

Speaking of College Football .. Is it fair that the Major College teams have to travel sooo far & get smoked ?
Tennessee has to play @ Cal.
Virginia Tech has to play @ LSU
Louisville has to play @ Kentucky

It will be interesting to see if by the end of the year there are more ND threads or ND offensive TDs. I'd put the line at ND threads (-4) ND Offensive TDs.

You Won Nothing Today, Michigan
All you did was weaken college football and America.Laugh now. Laugh it up. Laugh it up well, for while you laugh, Charlie Weis is back to work. He is tearing it down, tinkering and scheming. Everybody knew that this year was a write off--a purging of the last remnants of the corrupt and weak Willingham regime. Charlie will use this year as an experiment and a learning tool as was planned all along.

Next year, you will finally see the complete Charlie Weis experience, and back to back national championships are sure to follow when he has his recruits to execute his genius. I truly feel sorry for our opponents next year.

I Have Never Been Prouder of Notre Dame than I am this morning. Notre Dame has sent a strong message of what is right and decent by refusing to release the traitor Demetrius Jones from his scholarship and in doing so has once again held itself up as the standard bearer by which all American universities continue to be judged and continue to fall short.

Jones abandoned Notre Dame and his coach and must be punished. Notre Dame knows that this kid comes from a poor inner-city background. Notre Dame knows that it's highly unlikely that his family will be able to pay their own tuition next year. Notre Dame knows that how we are treating this African American product of the Chicago Public Schools is probably NOT how we would treat a white product of the Chicago Catholic Schools. Notre Dame knows all of this, yet had the morality and strength of character to make an example of this kid for turning his back on Notre Dame and Charlie Weis.

It is the ability to make such decisions that sets Notre Dame apart from the rest. God...Country...Notre Dame!

What in the hell are you smoking? You can't put all of the blame on Willingham. Perhaps your just looking at him for a scapegoat? As for next year the national championship, when is the last time they won a game worth a crap, yet alone a bowl game?

If you insert the phrase "Nazi Party" every place that "Notre Dame" is listed, it makes sense

this reminds me of listening to mike and mike on espn this morning...somehow they got on the subject of what makes a superhero..when they came back from a break, they said they were the subject of posts on a batman message board.....

there's a batman message board?!?!

but then you read crap like what dr fager posted from some moronic notre dame fan, and it explains why there are batman message boards.

Cool irishofndman on another site posting!

I bet its irishofndman, sounds like something he would say. He must really be in a quandry, if michigan state beats notre dame, will he learn to finally start cheering for the school hes going to. Man miss hearing his daily report of nd football. You wait later this year when they play those duke, navy and stanford teams he'll be telling us you just watch next year ncaa champs. As for weiss, being a patriot fan I think he should buy his agent a nice car. If notre dame fires him, he gets a huge buyout. Nice job! It would be awesome if notre dame couldn't win a game. You think nbc might not renew that contract. As for jones, can you blame him for wanting to leave! Weiss gave him one game as starter and then next week starts clausen the next so called brady quinn. Oh yeah about him get use to that bench and holding a board on the sidelines!
