Default 4/13: Aqueduct ($51k C/O)

Mixed bag of results on the Blue Grass-Arkansas Derby cards as Monba upset my applecart a few different ways, (though hooking the Keeneland feature winner up with Kip Deville paid more than $100). Was up and down all afternoon before ending the day short $15 from when I started... Trifecta in the KEE nightcap ($200), Limestone Edge ($17.80 to win; $48 exacta with Ready's Echo) and the Arky Derby exacta ($44) were the day's positive results.

Hope you did well and enjoyed the fun afternoon of racing, (though the Polytrack is tough to swallow). Aqueduct has a carryover of $50,800 while Keeneland's C/O swelled to more than $147,000... Took a brief glance at the Big A..

Same time of day for me yesterday Steve. If Kentucky Bear gets up for second I have a nice return. I wish I had put some tickets together using him behind some in Trifectas, but it didn't happen.

Default Ugly Spill

Bad spill in the 3rd. It appears that #5 ridden by Channing Hill clipped heels with another runner. The stewards are taking a long look. I hope Channing Hill is okay, but man did he go down hard.

And then Pino hops on his Hushion mount in the 4th and runs away from 'em...

Hope he's OK.

Steve - Great call on Seeking the Glory.

I need total chalk parade to get my pick6. Really screwed up the opening leg. Have #1 clearly marked an A, but swapped out to cover at last minute...

Decent coverage for me on pk4 side, though.

Thx.

I'm mad about that 7th. I told someone earlier that I thought I Promise could win by 10 or stink it up. She did neither, but I just didn't know what else to do there. Kills everything...

Contessa.. Unplayable from every angle.

Contessa gives me more trouble than any other trainer in NY. He's impossible to read.

Didn't have Fort Drum in any capacity, so that eases my pain.

Last summer at the Spa, Contessa was very high on Like A Rose....he told me that he thought that she was his best 2yo filly....I waited for her to come back but passed last weekend at the short price and passed today on the quick run back...

At least we get to go after $200K+ on Wed...

Liked that Donk runner in finale and had bookends of pk4. Contessa got me in middle legs... Three days to mull it over.
