Default NFL Draft Thread

I wonder if Miami will use all of the clock to announce their pick. I am sure my Bengals will once again screw the draft up. The last time the Bengals drafted a defensive player to make the Pro Bowl was in 1987. Eric Thomas made the 1980 Pro Bowl. The 2005 draft gave the Bengals Chris Henry--gone, Odell Thurman--suspended, David Pollack--retired, Eric Ghiaciuc--starting center...these were their 1st 4 picks (not in order).

If Long goes to Oakland... thatll be weird.
Howie thinks Al Davis is a nut and he is correct.

McFadden being portrayed as Adrian Peterson.
No way. He cant run through people.

If I was Atlanta, I would trade my pick to get an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick. They can get Brohm or Flaco early in the 2nd round. They need so much it isn't funny. But, I think they will take Ryan or Dorsey.

Good pick by the Raiders. McFadden is perfect and I think is going to be awesome.

Herm and company have to be doing backflips right now that Dorsey slipped to them.

They have like 3 other running backs.
They will need all of them. The O-line
is pitiful. Im glad I am not McFadden.
Good luck to Russell also. They better
do something about their line.

I think it's a relatively smart move by Andy Reid to drop out of the 19 slot and pick up an extra 2nd and 4th round this year, AND THE 1ST ROUND PICK of the Panthers next year...They should be cited for robbery. All of that for Jeff Otah?? Panthers should be cited for stupidity.

I agree. They got a lot for that pick. I wouldn't be suprised if they move up in the 2nd round to take the WR they like.

Got to give the Saints some credit for moving up and taking Ellis. The Bengals really wanted Ellis.

The Eagles' move with the Panthers is just awesome. I cannot believe they got all that for that Otah guy.

The primary long was really picked long ago.

YEEAAAA NICKSSSS!!!!

My old man and I are about to fire up some celebratory cigars... We were in love with Desean Jackson's style of play ever since we seen him play live against Arizona State out in Cali. Nevermind his slight build, he'll fit perfectly...With Jerry Rice as his mentor, who will teach him the ins and outs of the west coast offense route running, the Birds couldnt go wrong in selecting him. They needed a return man, they got one. Throw in the high motor of Trevor Laws, ( DT/Notre Dame) and next years 1st round pick from the Panthers, and I'd be hard-pressed to find a team that had a better first day of the draft. (save KC, monster, monster draft from Herm and Carl)...

We still have Lito as a bargaining chip for another immediate playmaker.....Eagle haters, its going to be a long, long year. And I dont mean Jake and Chris.......
