I wouldn't take anything less than 20/1.

Horse loves to throw in the towel.

Well, the winner was just better than these.

Obviously I bet Riptide and used him second to the winner. He ran OK but just wasn't quite good enough.

I was hoping for 20/1 or better on Sonny's The One.

I'm willing to throw out his only turf try. It's quite possible he could take to it. The distance shouldn't be a problem.

He's not okay. He's a perfect trip needing PUNK. This was just one of those all too frequent situations where he wasn't worth the price, and there wasn't anything able to step up in the field. So much value going around in racing.

I haven't had much time to handicap due to work issues and I haven't looked at PPs but

I was going to bet Cougar Bay last out in a much better race at KEE.

How does he lose this race?

Of course, NO VALUE, yet again.

The examples of why the game sucks continue:

you have an 8:5 (no value whatsoever) that suddenly becomes a stalker

bad favorite? sure, if the horse is doing something as the favorite that its not accustomed to

Since everyone was all over BEL today someone want to tell me what the hell was the deal with Dee Mo in today's 4th? Horse took way more consistant money than she had any right to. Went off at 8-1 and 15-1 in her last two. While her race 2 back was decent enough, she wasn't bet next time out and ran like it. Today bet down to 6-1 and stays there for virtually the entire half hour while the heavy fav continues to get hammered.

So the race is run...how many bad steps can a horse take in a quarter mile? How many times can Luzzi check this horse before swinging out wide where it looks like she is full of run. Then nothing...where did all the money come from? Was the trip as bad as it looked to me (I'm biased since I had some change on her) and should I be looking for her next time?

It was incidental steadying and the bottom line is the horse had no run once clear.

The horse was bet because there were few alternatives.

The important point......not much horse.

There was absolutely no pace in the race. What the hell did you want him to do? He was a bad favorite because there was no speed and the distance was short, not because Coa smartly took him closer to the crawl up front.
