Do you think he can make it to June?? It is quite an accomplishment for a full time major league cleanup hitter to make it to June with zero HR. How many pitchers does the Indians cleanup hitter trail in home runs?

He is single handly destroying my Home Run Derby team. I have f'n UGGLA, who was only picked by 1.5% of the people (I think there is like 30,000 entries or something)

It isn't like he is hurt, I can handle injuries because usually my team always gets blown up, but this clown can't hit a home run at all. Just tease me and hit one, that is all I ask....

Wow.
He's reviving the season of "Han Solo" Brook Jacoby when he hit over 30 with 60 some RBI one year. (yes, that was 1987...Jacoby hit .300 with 75 walks...32 home runs and a grand total of 69 rbi. a bases empty master.)

Um, last time I checked, a baseball player, ESPECIALLY a catcher, needs healthy hamstrings, how stupid is this Wedge guy, shut him down and get him stretching every day and get him healthy so he can start hitting me some HR's

They're abysmal. It is quite possible the worst American League offense ever assembled.

I wonder when the last time an everyday player has made it to June without a HR or a SB. Can't have happened often.

you mean, besides Freddie Patek?

but he wasn't a clean up hitter either

it is amazing though...he must be a basket case by now

Not just an every day player...an every day CLEANUP hitter homerless.

I thought Patek stole a ton of bases...like 50 some in some years??
