Just heard about this dreadful news from Newmarket.

I have no further news on the horse involved, but it is likely to be trained by Godolphin.

Dreadful incident

Terrible. It sounds like a hyperbaric chamber accident.

According to BBC it was a Godolphin horse:

Horse put down after an explosion - A racehorse has been put down after an explosion and fire in a medical unit at an equestrian centre in Suffolk. Two fire appliances were called in the late afternoon to the Moulton Paddocks Estate in Newmarket owned by Godolphin. This pre-training centre for horses was bought in 2004 by Godolphin, founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of the Dubai royal family. A fire service spokeswoman said: "There was an explosion in a medical chamber and a horse was put down by a vet." Oxygen and electricity supplies were isolated and a fire put out by crews.
