Default Caulfield Cup Group 1

Tough race to pick 1 winner with 21 horses slated to go tonight 1:05 AM EST

My picks are:

1. Guillotine - Williams/Hayes should be primed for a good effort, with a little luck...should be right there.

2. Littorio - Safe pick, should be one of the favorite choices.

3. Master O' Reilly - may be peaking at the right time.

Dead track my pick will be Guillotine.

Guillotine is my pick too. 66 years since a horse won from the 20 hole. He can do this!

Great minds think alike.

In my excitement I spelled Caulfield wrong in the title. Duh.

I'll take Littorio, Dolphin Jo, and Zagreb underneath the Master.

Zagreb got a dirt clod stuck in his throat last out and will run big here.

Fixed it.

Guillotine / Zagreb and Nom du Jeu in either order.

Finally found a replay... cheers to Godolphin and anyone who had him!

Nice run by NDJ.

A very confusing result for me, great prices and none of the more popular Melbourne contenders seemed to run their races. I think this was Godolphin's first major success in Australia and without Frankie, though Kerrin rode 2nd call for them in Europe.
