I don't really care. What irks me is that he's reportedly getting Rob Ryan to run his defense. Is there any reason why he couldn't get him to come to the Jets? Instead he let Bob Suckon mismanage the defense for three years.

I hope we get Rex Ryan. Other than maybe Russ Grimm, there's no one else out there that excites me.

I hope Brett Favre retires and decides to come back with the Patriots if Brady isn't ready to go.

He's always been obsessed with having the chance to play in a Randy Moss offense .. and he threw a couple of monumental hissy fits in Green Bay when they had a chance to get Moss but the front office didn't really want him.

Favre would put up insane numbers beyond belief and his INT's would drop tremendously .. because instead of having to force throws into covered recievers .. he can gun them into almost always wide open recievers underneath. He also gets great trajectory on the deep ball.

and the one brown masochist in my office said romeo may stay to run the offense.

i guess the fact mangini is there rules out pioli coming over to the gm spot.

No, but the Jets have supposedly reached out. He was one of the leading candidates to replace Cowher, but instead stayed with Whisenhunt in Arizona.

Actually he thought he had the Steeler job because they talked salary.....They decided later to offer Tomlin and he was pissed beyond belief. Did not consider staying on the Tomlin staff and when Whisenhunt offered it was the perfect fit.

Thanks. I knew he was a top candidate for the job, just didn't know the timeline.
