The NBA is never bad and the college season is in full drive. You've got several interesting stories in the NBA:

-can the Celtics repeat?
-can the Lakers survive again without Bynum and make it to the Finals?
-can they win it this time?
-can LeBron win the MVP finally and lead the Cavs past the Celtics?
-Are they Spurs, with Ginobili, Parker, and Duncan healthy, ready dethrone the Lakers?
-Are the playoff Suns going to be effective in the post-season with a revived Shaq once the games start slowing down and there are no back-to-back games?
-can the Rockets get all three of those stars healthy at the same time and make a run?
-Will the Mavericks pull the trigger on a blockbuster trade and make one more run?

I dunno. Maybe it's just because I'm a big college hoops fan, but that season is just getting good, so I like February. July and August suck to me. Baseball is the only sport going on, and it's a month or two away from becoming crunch time. Saratoga is the only saving grace for me before the U.S. Open starts.

Bingo College Hoops is great every nite their is a good game. These cats are playing every nite like it is March. These Big East, ACC etc conference games mean a lot. Ditto on July and August.

outside of horse racing, i'm done until august when football starts again. Lacrosse starts the last weekend in Feb. it's tough to enjoy the first couple weeks because the weather in march is usually so bad.

Good stuff.

Of course they can.
Depends who they get in the playoffs. Denver is much better w/ Billups.
Of course they can.
Of course he can. Of course they can.
The Spurs are not healthy. Ginobili got hurt again last night. (how bad we will see)
The Suns suck with or without Shaq.
No. The Rockets have bird bones.
You mean get rid of Dirk...

I love it.

Less distractions for my Racing Form studying and replay watching. February is the best.

Once spring training starts, the distractions return.
