Default 2/6: Aqueduct (4th-9th)

Came away from Gulfstream experience Thursday with a huge opportunity missed. Had the back to back $50+ winners listed as fourth choices in the 7th-8th, and used the first (An overlaid Dances for Tips, $53.80) in the P4 play, but was undone by attempted single (Lieutenant Ron, 4th) for a 2nd day in a row. Uggh... Green Vegas ($57.40) upset the feature and keyed the outrageous $15,410 quad payoff. Managed to include top 2 horses in all 5 races yesterday, so exactas were the order of the day. But hopefully some of you rolled P3's with the selections, as was the case Wednesday, because the 5th-7th returned $346, the 6th-8th $1,619 and the 7th-9th $3,080! Crazy... Hope you did well.

There is a $30,000 carryover at Gulfstream Friday, but I had already looked at Aqueduct.

Will single Chaysen Alex and try to catch the early pk4.

The scratch of Icabad botches my late pk4 play...

Now I see why Studart has far more places than wins. She is too slow with the whip. Sanchez took her to school.

Funny you say that... I thought similarly that she was just trying to arm ride 'JJ' past the winner and she was getting there. She 'finishes' OK but may not be strong enough to win in that situation without the stick.

I guess ability to get the distance supercedes ability in general sometimes.

There were some clever rides in there.
