Default I Want Revenge vs. Mine That Bird

Was the extra seven or so hours on a van with a break at Lonestar really that big of a story for Mine That Bird?

I Want Revenge vanned from New York. I wonder why they weren't making a big effing deal about that all week.

This **** has got to stop. There are people who think this horse was thrown in some shitty assed horse trailer with no water and had to drive part of the way.

My god.

El Paso to L-Ville is 2x as far as NY to L-Ville.... 700 vs 1400 miles or so.

They stopped and the horse galloped at Lone Star along the way.

I think the media grabbed hold of this because the trainer on crutches drove the van HIMSELF. I beleive he was the only trainer that actually drove his own horse, that is why it has been treated as a big deal.

And it was pretty funny, right before the race, when some NBC wonk was mentioning it yet again, sticking the mike in the trainers face, and the trainer said, "geesh .... "

I believe that is the only story they could come up with... Since the horse stunk so bad.

I'm with you.......I don't think I could justify betting him today knowing the result.

How about we throw in the down and out stripper that came for the ride? What other crap can we make up to make it good for a Hollywood type movie.

Considering how he ran the first 2/3 of the race, he might have had time to do that exact thing.
