Toss is strong? Why toss? Taking a shot is one thing. Toss is another.

Joe -- I'd say much depends on who you like in the other legs. If you're going to single Lookin at Lucky in the Derby, then maybe you're cruising for a chalky payoff if Blind Luck wins...but remember two things -- 1.) Lots of wacky money in any pool on any day that has the word "Derby" in it in Kentucky, so prices tend to be inflated as it is, and 2.) Aren't you going to feel stupid if you catch a 12-1 winner in the Woodford and a 20-1 winner in the Derby and don't have the even-money favorite to kick the thing off and miss out on that payday, which won't be small pickings even with Blind Luck in it?
The rest of the sequence would dictate how I'd play against her, if I were inclined to do so like you are. Just my two cents. |

Point being, there's money to be made whether you play with or against Blind Luck -- it's just how MUCH you're thinking you need to get back to make you want to put your bet in. It may just not be worth leaving her out. |
