I really like Fly Down in here. I expect Dross to take too much money and I thought Fly Down was rushed a bit to be in LA Derby. 7-2 a fair price and you might get better.

I'm as guilty as anyone of getting blinded by the luster of lone speed but this looks like a situation where Remand is going to be overbet based on his likely early edge. There's absolutely nothing in his pedigree that indicates even 8 furlongs will be a cinch and that last furlong will be very tricky.
