Default Oracle

Can your Yanks keep from getting swept by the Halos? Chris Rock,Adam Sandler, and Ray Romano have all gone to the games here in Socal(to cheer for the Yanks,)and they have all had depressing rides home.

Halos just know how to play them.As far as Seattle goes,I actually don't know.Seattle needed to save their year by doing something like that.Matter of fact,it won't surprise me if the Halos let down when they fly up to Seattle.Their intensity varies quite a bit(hence, poor position as far as making the playoffs go.)

Default Couple of Clutch Wins

Dodgers almost always struggle on the road, but took the last 2 games in Arizona.Made for a 4-5 road trip, and for them that is good. They have 3 roadblocks in front of them. The games coming up at home against the Padres. The games against the Mets, and of course the unfortunate games against the Giants on the final weekend(in Frisco.)They have played Colorado very well, and need to simply mug them this week.

Saunders was throwing batting practice today, and (for some reason) Scioscia just kept bolted to that wood until it was 8-0.It isn't just him though. Why do managers wait so long to take a starter out that has no control of pitch location whatsoever.I see it happen a lot. They get the team buried badly.I don't get it.Take out the guy who is not gunna give you a chance to win.We have a pattern here with this pitcher. He seems to need that 5th day of rest.He will get that before his next start, but there is no shame in leaving a game early if ya can't help your team.LOL...Look at this guy for Toronto(LILLY.)HE was throwing b.p.,and gave up the majority of an 8 run lead that he just got.He got upset that the manager came to get him.I don't get that.If you give up 5 runs in an inning, you got to go.Some pitchers are a special case, and they often struggle early, and get better. That is not the pattern for Saunders,or LILLY.Often,Haren struggles early(seems to only struggle early.)Same for Escobar. They have established certain patterns that involve early struggles, and they find their marks soon after.
