Bears are ok, but not better then GB

Atl how are they better then expected? They were chalk on road Week 1 and lost.

KC is going in the right direction long term. TONS TONS TONS OF YOUNG TALENT.

Miami is a well run organization, they have been solid past 2 years in a tough division.

Texans.... Tough one. Im not sold.

You'd be a lot better served asking someone else.

But, here's my takes:

Bears: They're a house of cards waiting to collapse. Third best team in the division.

Atlanta: They are like the Patriots in terms of having an offense that runs a hell of a lot smoother at home than on the road.

Kansas City: The Chargers team they beat totally quit once it started raining - and they did have a nice win over the improved Cleveland Clowns - but the Clownies shot themselves in the foot as much as usual in that game. When Matt Cassell is your QB - you're going nowhere. He blows beyond belief.

Fins: Good team on both sides of the ball.

Texans: Good offense. A team that has a history of giving games away after impressive wins - they stole one from the Skins last week.

I don't know if the Pats really dominated the first half. It was 14-10 at the half and one of the Pats scores came a few plays after a terrible hit to the head call on a failed 3rd down conversion.

Sanchez picked apart the Pats secondary. That is going to be a real problem area for you guys. Not to mention you have absolutely no running game. Pats will win their fair share of games without a doubt. But you guys are going to need to improve dramatically in those areas to advance at all in the playoffs.

Cassell went 11-5 for the Pats - but he has a spaghetti noodle for an arm and he holds onto the ball forever.

Trust me - he is a total fraud. He had 61 yards passing in game #1. And in game #2 - against the Browns - he throw zero TD's and 2 INT's and the Browns defense gave up nothing to the chiefs.

The one Chiefs TD against the Browns came on an INT returned for a TD.

The first field goal that the Chiefs scored came on a fumble recovered deep in Cleveland territory and the Chiefs offense went 3 and out and made the field goal.

Cassell threw about 8 passes to the fullback in that game against the Browns. He either checks down right away or holds on way too long.

The guy was at USC for five years and never even sniffed the football field. He has no arm - but give him Wes Welker working on a lineback or Wes Welker working on a nickle guy - and Moss on the outside and he looked very good despite leading the NFL in sacks taken.

Moss has to play better. Save the one TD catch - He otherwise had the single worst game I've ever seen him play in his entire career. He was awful beyond belief.

He had some games with the Raiders where he did nothing - but the offensive line was so hopeless - they couldn't even complete a seven step drop and he was basically reduced to an outside possession reciever with no chances.

Moss is the running game. The offensive lines pass blocking is Moss. As the O-line goes so should Moss. As Moss goes - so will the running game.

The defense isn't very good and that's the biggest concern.

This isn't very realistic. I agree that Moss has to play better, but does he really have an excuse for yesterday? Where was Welker in the 2nd half?

The O line played fine. But I can't see Faulk and BenJarvus Green Ellis having many 100 yard games.

The main thing I took out of the game is how good the Jets defense is. They put a lot less pressure on the QB than they usually do and forced Brady to beat them. He couldn't. Even Cromartie seemed to wake up when Revis got hurt.

Road game #1: Led the Jets by 6 points at halftime. Didn't score a single point in the second half. Lost

Road game #2: Led the Broncos 17-7 at halftime. Didn't score a single point in the second half. Lost

Road game #3: Jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead against hapless Tampa in London and cruised.

Road game #4: Blew a 31-14 lead in the 4th quarter against the Colts. Monumental collapse down the stretch.

Road game #5: Led the Saints by a score of 7-3 at the end of the first quarter. They were outscored 35-10 in the final 3 quarters.

Road game #6: Jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead against the Dolphins. Blew the game in the second half. Another road L.

Road game #7: Jumped out to a quick 14-3 lead against the Bills and won despite being outscored in the second half.

Road game #8: Was leading Houston 27-13 in the 4th quarter - blew a huge lead in deep stretch by giving up 3 late touchdowns and lost the game.


2010:

Road game #1: Absolutely owned the first quarter against the Jets - blew a halftime lead and did not score a single second half point.

Stat from yesterday that proves the Jets don't have to send the house to be successful, even without Revis: They sent 3 or 4 men on 63% of 2nd half plays and only sent 6+ men once and the Pats' passing attack still couldn't do anything. This will only get better with Pace back, likely in Week 4. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anxious to see how they do against a team that actually employs running backs, but they held the fort without Jenkins last year, so I'm optimistic.

The Jets are better than the Patriots, period. As for the Dolphins, we'll get an idea on Sunday.

I think the Pats had 11 first downs in the first quarter versus 0 for the Jets. I would say that is owning the first quarter.
