Default Steelers 1-0 :)

Even with a backup QB fumbling on the 1 and a CB that gets beat routinely (good ole Ike) the Steelers keep rolling in front of the Nation at Heinz Field. There's limited room on the Steelers DerbyTrail bandwagon - so sign up quickly! Membership entitles you to excessive gloating after the Steelers win the Big One in February or the opportunity to bitch excessively if the unthinkable are to happen.

Thumbs up here we go

Much like others on the board highly anticipate the start of the Saratoga meet, in Pittsburgh we are just killing time from February until the day the Steelers report to training camp in Latrobe in late July.

Proud member of the "Steel Nation" since 1974. Made a "killng" with the NFL last year and our team won it all! Hard to follow that up, but as said below...

Culpepper certainly didn't help Miami, but give the Steelers credit, they do what good teams do, they won....

I thought Culpepper played well...the two late int's were predictable as he had to air it out. Pittsburgh looked great! Batch isn't the worst QB in the world, he never had anything to work with in Detroit. He's a more than adequate backup and he played well in front of his home town crowd. Steeler's D was great, they kept Chambers in check and Brown got little on the ground...Culpepper will have a good year for them, he seemed fairly sharp for the first game and few teams will pressure him like he was last night! A good game...and the Steeler's class showed in the late stages!
