Nostradamus Pro Picks
Gave you 3 for 3 last weekend. I must admit I only bet two in a parlay. The Cowboys and Bills were easy winners though.
This week, another 3. Carolina -3 (bet everything you have) Buffalo -5.5 Under 35.5 in Miami/Tenn. (Tenn might not score) I am playing Carolina-Buffalo and Carolina-Miami under parlays. Heavy on Carolina-Miami Under. |

NYJETS +5.5 @ Buffalo
The Jets finally showed a little life, while the Bills might have played over their heads so far. Buffalo shouldn't be more than a fg over any team. Here's hoping for a fg finish. CINCY +2 @ Pitt I locked in at +3 early, and also on the money line (I can't remember +?#). Don't go too aggressively here, as Cowher is going home after a very tough loss Monday night. He has always been able to get his team up to out-physical the Bungles. But that was during the Bettis years. Still--he will be all over his D about the way Jacksonville dominated. Cincy took a big hit with the loss of their center and defensive back. This is a HUGE game for both teams. Pitt can't afford a home loss here, which would put them two games behind Cincy already. Time for Marvin's crew to show how tough they can be. Cincy on the money line might be the best play. HOUSTON +4 vs. Washington I would love to see the Texans get the straight-up win here, and I have to like them against a road team that has been terrible so far. Can Brunell play any worse than he has in the first two games? Will Portis play? The Texans started off strong at home vs.Philly in week 1 only to have a very disappointing collapse. They were over-matched at Indy last week. They are hungry, return home against a weak opponant, and need to give their home fans a reason to believe. Plus they can lose by a fg, and we still win here. I will make approx.25% of my play on the money line. MINNESOTA +3 vs.Chicago 2-0 home dog works for me here. The Bears are for real, still they won't win every game. Vikes should relish the underdog status, and their D should be stoked about how the Bears' unit is getting all the attention. Minny probably has a slightly better qb and overall offense. 50% of this play will be on the money line. CLEVELAND +6.5 vs.Baltimore A very small, shaky play. The Browns are terrible, with nothing to look forward about. The Ravens are hot, with a stifling D, a new(old) qb, and a somewhat re-energized Jamal Lewis. Just counting on the Browns to keep it competitive. 25% on the money line. NYGIANTS +3.5 @ Seattle I am on the Giants all the way, and hope they can spring ahead after last week's surprise win. I don't like the Seahawks, outside of their rb. I like getting more than a fg, and 50% of this play goes to the money line. NEW ORLEANS +3.5 vs. Atlanta This may well be my biggest play of the week. The Saints return to the Super Dome to a packed, enthusiastic crowd, with Reggie Bush along to enhance the electric atmosphere. The Saints have played well so far with a new improved qb. The Falcons are probably not as good as they have appeared, and are moving into a prime position to be upset. Atlanta never plays many good games consecutively, and is on the road on Monday night laying a fg+. 50% of this play will be on the money line. All dogs Good luck to everyone! |

Atl will crush NO. New orleans has zero defense whats so ever. Warrick dunn has looked brilliant and vick will always be his enigmatic self. What i look at is in the secondary. Hall will lock down joe horn who is having an off year anyway. Leaving him out on the island leaves another man in the box to stop bush. Even with the superdome being back I dont see how a very overated new orleans beats the falcons running game.
