SIRIUS/XM Schedule
Who are the geniuses at SIRIUS/XM that figure out the programming for the weekend. On a regular Sat or Sunday, on SIRIUS right in the middle of the day when the good races are starting, if Down the Stretch is not on, they go to reruns of HRRN's equine forum, trainer talk and call in show. XM is worse, on SUnday when I had a rental car, they went to the continuous loop of game times. Its unbelievable

I know on the XM side, they run out of bandwith when there are a full slate of baseball games. XM has more Sports channels but are still limited to the amount of stuff they can feed through the system. On the Sirius end, I don't know why they're doing that when they can be using the live audio from HRTV for afternoon coverage of the races. I'll let programming know. A lot of times they have a schedule in front of them and just throw switches without realizing there is a better option. SB

SIRIUS Schedule
Steve,
Thanks for trying to make some changes. If they're open to suggestions, my proposal is that Friday night be "Weekend Preview Nite". With all due respect to Aachen and Monty ROberts, in between the replays of The Edge and Against the Odds, I propose that we get a rerun of the XpressBet weekend preview show for us our here on the West COast. Alse, then we could get the Friday morning ATR rerun in 1 hour segments in the early/ late evening hours. Thanks, Bill |
