Randy Moss to the Chicago Bears for this years 1st round pick.....just announced on Chicago radio

hm... that would be a big roll of the dice... because the talent he brings- priceless. The chemistry issues associated with him- terrible. Rex seems to be doing just fine with his core of young Wide-outs. I'm also against it as a Vikes fan. Seeing him 2 times a year is scary.

But I wouldn't be able to really know until he got there... he's not T.O. bad, but he's no angel either. If Muhsin Mo goes off for 100 yards and 2 TDs, and Randy catches 3 passes for 38 yards. Even if the bears win the game, Randy is gonna whine. And if the Bears lose, you're gonna unleash the monster

If this happens I would advise you to not buy those Super Bowl tickets. The guy is talented but he gives up on plays too easily and has a loser aura about him.

He simply does not care about the game. He does not care about winning. I dont care what he says in interviews. This is a great athlete with very little desire, except maybe to be in the spotlight.

He is the type that is all or nothing, you put him on a competitive team, he will play his rear end off, TO is exactly the same way. not sure why it is WR's that have this attitude

I read posts in a weird order and totally thought you were talking about Perfect Drift. I got really confused at the interview part though.

I think Perfect Drift likes running. Perfect Drift gives very good interviews and does not like to wear grills.

I really dont think Moss likes football. You have a guy on your team like him...
Well lets look at a little example. The Patriots. They get their rears kicked around by the Broncos. The Broncos offensive line physically manhandled them, and Brady had to pass about 1000 times cause they could not run the ball. Very disappointing. Except for one thing. These guys are winners and very competitive. If you kick their butts one week, watch out next week because corrections will occur, they compete after getting beat up. So the Pats go into Cincy and give them a butt kicking like they received.

Moss. He plays when he feels. He does not finish routes because it does not directly benefit him. He will block down field, if he feels ok. Again, just cause you are talented in a sport does not mean you actually like to compete. Moss is there when its easy. I would take a good look at the Oakland Raiders. The team is a mess. I would watch for guys that are still competing. I guarantee Belechik has someone watching players from that team closely. Makes all the difference in the world and a reason why I now have great respect for the Patriots. They have players that compete. Everygame. Unlike more talented teams. Or teams that are flat out bad so players quit. Moss... I hate players like Moss. A huge waste. So talented. No will.

If I was a Bears fan the thought would send shivers down my spine. When things start getting difficult, and they will because the Bears will lose, they will play a bad game. Guys like Moss are ready to abandon ship. He is really the worst kind of poison because he is so talented. Teams wont pass on him. And if anyone thinks he has the work ethic of TO, you dont know Moss.

I don't know if this is true but certainly it makes sense...Moss has been openly critical of the Raiders management and Al don't take kindly to such stuff! The season is already in the toilet and they don't need Moss when they don't have a QB that can get him the ball. The Bears have a nice set of WR's already but add Moss to that and wow! If I were a Bears fan, I'd roll the dice here!

Well said although I haven't been very impressed with Perfect Drift's interviews. Moss is on an 0-16 team where he belongs. It would be a big mistake for any contending team to take a shot on him. You can be great or be good and have a great attitude/work ethic to last in this league. Rice extended his career by moving from one category to the other. Moss no longers fits in either and needs a quick attitude adjustment or he is two years from being out of the pros.

Moss gets a bad rap. He is a special talent that will thrive in the right situation.

This trade would completely make sense. Its a win for both teams and I bet it gets done.
Oakland realizes already that this year they are just playing out the string. Why not move a highly paid WR in exchange for a future First rounder, even if its going to be a VERY late first rounder?
If I'm the Bears I pull the trigger on this trade in two seconds if its offered.
Its obvious that they aren't going to get a very good first round slot this upcoming draft. They are already 4-0 and play a creampuff schedule like none I've ever seen. WHy not give up a very late first round draft choice for a target for Grossman to throw to?
Its really the right move, Gm's have to decide in all sports these days when "NOW" is. By that I mean, is "now" this year or next year or the year after.
"NOW" is now for the Bears and if I'm the Gm I do anything to pull out all the stops this year. They are 4-0, have the easiest schedule in the world the rest of the way, and own the tie breaker edge over the Seahawks(the other NFC leader with an easy schedule) so realistically they will have homefield in the playoffs as long as they are in the playoffs. Its not really premature to say any of thay, so, why not get a player who can really boost the offense and try and make "now" into a super bowl trip?

ofcoarse you make that deal, all moss needs is someone who can throw in his vacinity....... he was the reason culpepper put up huge numbers...... just look at culpepper now, the guy is terrible.
